Started on April 22 1970, by Senator Gaylord Nelson as a grass roots demonstration to bring attention to environmental issues, Earth Day has grown into a world wide phenomenon. The first Earth Day demonstration was celebrated by 20 million people.
What are you doing to celebrate...
We transplanted the herbs from pots to a permanent garden outside my studio. It's nice to get the old fingernails dirty!

Awww... that is going to look and smell incredible. Happy Earth Day. =)
Nice, looks like both you and the neighborhood cats will be having a blast! I miss my garden back in Colorado :).
Very pretty blog :)
Lovely works, thank you!

oh how fun, I love garlic leaves in my salad - in fact I love garlic in everything, so its probably good that I work from home!!
fingernails dirty, good for you! thanks for sharing.
Those herbs are going to taste SOOOO good for you throughout the season!! We are delivering mulch with our boy scout troop, attending an earth day celebration in our neighborhood with over 60 vendors selling eco-friendly products, shopping our neighborhood yard sales, and in the evening we are attending an Avalon concert at a loval church.
