Illustration Friday ~ Theater

So there's no more fuss
And there's no more scenes
And my garden thrives-
You should see my nectarines!
But I'm telling you the same
I tell kings and queens:
Don't ever never ever
Mess around with my greens!
Especially the beans!!! Excerpt from Witch's Lament by Stephen Sondheim
These are pictures of my set for Into The Woods, complete with 40 foot trees and Spanish moss hanging from the rails. Rapunzel's tower is on the left side and rotated to be both a tree and a tower! Wickedly fun to design and build!

Great sets! I especially love your illustration with the baker holding his family jewels! I had to do a double take...At first glance, it's "Oh, what a sweet children's book illo..." Then, upon a closer look! ROFLMAO!

The 'protecting the family jewels' pose is hilarious...being from WV we don't have a family tree...we have a telephone pole...no branches...
